KIEN
As I finished the book, at first, I thought Mai was the main character. But when Kien came into the story, he became the main character of the story. As the story went on, much of the story focused on Kien and also many characters depended on Kien. When Kien, grandpa, Mai, and Loc depended on Kien to survive in the sea. I think if there wasn't Kien, the story should be less fun and Kien was brave in this story.

when the first book was about Mai and it says when the main character changes in the book.
In first it says it is Mai
and then it says it is Kien. I like the story of Kien better than story if Mai
Me too!! I think there are two main characters, The aucthor focused on Mai and Kien. But I still don't know why kien became a good and brave boy.
