KIEN

As I finished the book, at first, I thought Mai was the main character. But when Kien came into the story, he became the main character of the story. As the story went on, much of the story focused on Kien and also many characters depended on Kien. When Kien, grandpa, Mai, and Loc depended on Kien to survive in the sea. I think if there wasn't Kien, the story should be less fun and Kien was brave in this story.

Setting

I have finiched the book and there is a lots of different detting. First there is a Vitnam and mostly is is taken at ocean. Also Thailand and some many more islands. When I see this setting, they had to go through a lots of storms because they were staying mostly at the ocean

A Boat To Nowhere

"A Boat to Nowhere" is a book that is little mixed with fiction and non-fiction. This book is about a Vietnam war. Since Vietnam war is real so this might be non-fiction but the characters and those events are no might be true so those are fiction to make this story more fun. There was this really little village in this forest with only about six families. Those families naver had communiction to the outside. Those people had to fish and make things by themsleves. This one myserious boy came in to the village and talking rudly but talking about the wars and singing about them have brought villagers new information and many more.

Secret

I think every person have a secret. This is for sure because everyone have done something worng and everyone can like or love someone so they all have secret. If some person have no secret then that person might be very proud and truthful person. For me I have a lot of secret because I know that I have liked someone and also I have lied so much that I am a great secret person and lier. But then since I still have a lot of secrets and I can't tell does so I am going tell one that is long long time ago. This was when I was about 3 or 4. That was when my sister was born and she was brought to home. We were at mom side grandmother's house. Since I was the first child from mom side and dad side, so I was a child who was getting a lot of love. But when my sister and my cousins came, I was getting jealos of them. If I think about that right now, I don't knw why I did that. So I just went into this room where my grandparents slept. If you hear this, you might think it is weird, but mess around the whole house and even broke some glasses and I got into a big troble. This wasn't a big one but still it was the best one I got

Courage

When we say courage, I think of many things. But this verse just comes to me when I think about courage, "Don't be afraid, anywhere you go, I'll give you that land," that was from Joshua 1:1. Why do we feel fear? I also feel fear. Everyone on the earth do. If God said to Joshua that not to fear than we shouldn't feel fear too. That means that we can't stop feeling the fear but what we can do is believe in God and believe that he will protect us then we can go over the fear and do things better. For me anything was fearful but most fearful thing or person was parents. Because everything starts with parents and ends with parents. When we start things parents make us to start or we tell them we will do it. If we do good what we were doing then we might go to non-fearful side which is good and no harm place. If we do really bad and make parents sad then we will have to go to fearful side which is very unhappy and scary place. Sometimes I prayed that mom and dad won't punish me, sometimes, it worked but many times it didn't work. It didn't work because I did something bad or wrong that is why God didn't help me. But if we did everything right and there is nothing to hide, then God will help us for forever. If God help us forever then we will overcome the fear since God is with us. Let's trust in God and make success in our lives
